What Makes Our Fit So Ideal
We have a little secret for making our clothing to fit you perfectly. Our clothes fit differently than most clothing brands in the best way. While most brands design their clothes using straight fit models and then grade up or down to get additional sizes, ours is designed intentionally for women with curves. Our founder uses her own measurements as a starting place for the clothing fit to be more curve-friendly.
A woman's body, through pregnancy and postpartum, and throughout her menstrual cycle doesn’t change in straight lines. A woman's body changes in rounded, curved ways. Our clothing reflects that.
At Real Atelier Co., every silhouette we design begins with a different assumption:
Bodies have shape, movement, and variation. We dare to flatter all of them.
Designed for all different kinds of curves, not just clothing sizes
Our patterns are built to accommodate fuller busts, defined waists, and hips — without flattening or restricting the body. Instead of relying on stretch fabric alone, we use thoughtful designs including contoured seams and flexible construction so garments follow your natural proportions.
Made to adapt through life's many stages
Pregnancy and postpartum change how weight and volume are distributed. Each piece is engineered to maintain balance and comfort as your body shifts — structured enough to feel polished, forgiving enough to move with you. Our founder also believes in giving non-pregnant women the best clothing options possible for natural bodily fluctuations, be it your period or other health conditions that make a more adjustable clothing fit desirable.
Tested on real bodies
Our founder fits every prototype and tests it in motion herself — sitting, walking, lifting, living — and then refines the fit with additional body profiles to ensure it works beyond a single set of measurements.
The result
Clothing that feels supportive but never rigid.
Tailored pieces that skim your body's natural lines while never feeling too tight.
Feminine without being fragile or impractical.
Because fit isn’t just about measurements — it’s about how you live in your clothes.
